2005 Mars Opposition Hoax

A number of recent emails have been circulating, announcing that Mars will reach opposition on August 27 (this was the date in 2003, but in 2005 opposition is on November 7), and even that from Earth, Mars will appear as large as the full moon (ridiculous).
